Dr Mohamed Ashour is a highly skilled surgeon with a broad scope of practice. His
expertise has been honed through a combination of overseas and Australian
experiences.

He is a qualified surgeon with a diverse range of interests, including general, hepato
biliary, and upper gastrointestinal surgery. His expertise extends to interventional
gastroscopy and colonoscopy as a GESA certified endoscopist.

Holding public appointments in Northern and Eastern Health, he also maintains
private affiliations with several hospitals in the north and east of Melbourne.

Additionally, he shoulders the responsibility of guiding and mentoring junior surgical
doctors as the supervisor within the postgraduate medical education unit at Eastern
Health.
